Tower of Dawn

This book was a surprise. I didn’t think I’d like it so much. I predicted I’d rate it 3-4 stars. But NO. I rated it five whole stars. Because I had forgotten the amazingness of Sarah J. Maas’s books, I had forgotten how heart-stopping and mesmerising they are.

The beginning drew me in immediately, as I love all things kingdoms – kings, queens, princes and princesses. The world-building is absolutely fantastic in this book, as it is with all her books. The world-building is what knocks up an extra star for me. First-Impressions: Tower of Dawn

Image result for tower of dawnFIRST OF ALL I JUST DISCOVERED THIS COVER, I’M NOT SURE IF IT’S “OFFICIAL” BUT IM IN LOVE.

Surprise, surprise, I’m actually beginning to enjoy it. Somewhat. Returning to Sarah J Maas’s world is like returning to an old and previously forgotten home, that for me I was practically a second home last summer, when I ripped through the entire Throne of Glass series.

I had intended to read loads of classics that summer, but instead I stumbled upon Throne of Glass, was instantly ensnared in the story, and so, there was no escape.
