Top 5 Fantasy – Sept 18

Yes, another Top 5 Tuesday! I’ve been loving these September topics!! …OKAY FINE, if you’ve been following this blog for some time, you’re not going to learn anything new, because I’ve already raved about these books loads of times on this blog (because that’s what bookish blogs are for, right?) – but at least your suspicions will be confirmed, and perhaps you’ll be even more convinced to read these books if you haven’t already…

Book Lists, TBRs

December TBR

Hey guys!

It’s timeeeee *drumroll* for this month’s TBR!

Currently I’ve been gliding through a book a week, which I am very pleased about. However, that means there is a (likely?) possibility I will be unable to finish all of the books I wish to this month.

But then, it is December, and I’ll be having holidays off studies (as always) so I’ll have some extra time on my hands.

Anyways, we’ll see how it goes!

If you’ve been following my posts, then you know I’ve been meaning to read this book for quite some time now. Now that I’ve finished Cinder (review coming soon) according to plans, I was supposed to read this.

But, then I decided to read The Hunger Games. Surprise, surprise – I actually haven’t read it yet. Shocking, I know. But, I’m reading it now, and will be sure to let you all know exactly what I think about it. So stay tuned.

It’s ridiculous I haven’t read this yet. But I am now 😉

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I’ve heard so much about this book and I’m super excited to give it a try once I have gotten through The Hunger Games. But I have a bad feeling I’m going to end up reading The Hunger Games trilogy and completely neglecting the rest of my TBR for this month (let’s hope not).

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater (sequel to The Raven Boys)

When I got The Raven Boys from the library I also got the sequel so… we’ll see how my reading goes 🙂

The Queen of Attolia

I have been neglecting this ebook sorely. I am so sorry. I’m sure it is an excellent book, and I haven’t been giving it a fair amount of attention compared to the other physical books I’ve been reading.

I’m going to try and finish this before the end of this month!

But to be completely honest, I’m finding it rather dull at the moment. Or maybe I’m just not being patient enough? Apparently, there is an enormous climax coming up, and the plot has been very cleverly plotted.

Either way, I can’t wait to plough my way deeper into this book!

Now, technically this book shouldn’t be here, because I am not planning on reading it. But I did check it out at the library. It is one of those books (for me) that you find in the library and that sound cool and look cool but when you go home and do some research about them… aren’t actually cool… for me.

Because it’s not actually YA and according to what I’ve read on Goodreads this has some very graphic and disturbing/traumatising scenes that I would not like to encounter (yet?) in my world of books.

However, if this book does sound interesting to you and you don’t mind any of these things that were the cause of me putting it back in my book-bag for the library, go ahead and read it – let me know what you think, too!

Have you read any of these books? What do you think of them (no spoilers, please!)?

Speak soon!
