Queen of Air and Darkness *spoilery* – Part 1

I have a lot to say about this book. I did a spoiler-free review here, where I initially rated it 2.5 stars. I have now brought it back down to 2 stars.

There are so many points I want to make, and so this will be split up into two posts, perhaps more if necessary, to cover them all so it’s not way too long.

Queen of Air and Darkness *spoiler-free*

I was going to give this book one star. I was so disappointed with it most of the way through, and it felt like the same as the other two books except much, much longer and therefore more drawn-out and therefore more boring.

However, as I read on the book turned out to have a few charms to it that the other books lacked, that I genuinely loved and enjoyed reading, and that I was very surprised to find that I was absolutely loving it for that time.

Lord of Shadows *spoilery*

Rating: 2/5 stars // Published: 2017

If you’re looking for a glowing review, this is not it. I actually enjoyed Lady Midnight more. Nevertheless, I’m going to press onto Queen of Air and Darkness and see what happens because I have really enjoyed some of Cassandra Clare’s other books. Check out my spoiler-free review here.

Seeing as this is 700 pages long I’m kind of upset it ended up only being 2 stars.
