When an email popped up in my inbox asking if I’d be interested in reviewing a self-published Islamic-fiction book, as soon as I saw the words “Islamic-fiction” – trust me, I’d already made up my mind before I’d even read what the book was about. Which, in other cases may turn out to be a disaster, but in the case, it certainly was not so.
