Islamic-Fiction Books on my TBR!

YESSS I’m back to talk about more Islamic-fiction! You might be wondering, “all she seems to be doing is talking about reading but not actually doing any reading and talking about writing but not actually doing any writing” and I know it must seem this way but I am reading and writing… it’s just not enough to talk about, you know what I’m saying? I am currently reading a book and currently writing it’s just progress has been slow, but I’m ploughing my way through it! 😀 I just need some more time to get into it all. I have been spending way more time on Goodreads again (I’ve missed it) and have a few Islamic-fiction books I’m dying to get my hands on which I thought I’d talk about!

WHY WRITING MEANS SO MUCH TO ME… and why even though I’ve had an on-and-off relationship with it so far, I’m determined to keep going

Hello everyone…. I think we can all agree that at the very least, 2020 was a strange (although this hardly, hardly does it justice) year, and over the past 7 years of my life it was the first year which I did not engage in any writing whatsoever. I was overwhelmed by A Levels, and even though with lockdown I had more time on my hands, I just did not feel motivated or inspired to write (in fact, it was the very least of my concerns… simply adjusting to lockdown in a house with 7 other people was overwhelming, to say the least). I don’t want to jinx anything, but I know that the past few days have really changed my approach to writing that 2020 almost cemented in me (which was uncertainty, demotivation and lack of inspiration) and now with the second lockdown and my exams cancelled (don’t even ask about that because I don’t know what to even think lol) I feel like I almost have more room in my head to get back into writing. So really, this post is all about me talking about why writing means so much to me, why it’s so important to me that I get back into it and not abandon this special hobby to rot in the corner of my brain. I think a writer’s purpose is something that is very personal and unique to each individual – we all have our own way of dealing with things, expressing ourselves and voicing our own opinions – and every reason is valid – so I would love to hear what everyone else’s “purpose” as a writer is! 🙂

Favourite Online Islamic-Fiction! | Amazing Islamic-Fiction that you can read for FREE

I always talk about Islamic-fiction… or try to, anyway, since it’s something verrryyyy important to me – and despite this, I fully understand that the majority of my readers may be completely inexperienced with the type of Islamic-fiction that I love and want more of, instead of the more mainstream books termed as being “Islamic-fiction” when actually there couldn’t be a bigger contradiction. However, I also realise that not everyone can afford to broaden their horizons when it comes to purchasing books, so I thought offering online options would give people more of an opportunity to explore – and I just generally have some amazing Islamic-fiction recommendations that just so happen to be online (since I’d be fully prepared to pay for this stuff too tbh)!!!
