WWW Wednesday – 12th Dec 2018

Hey everyone!

It feels like 48317 years since I did a WWW Wednesday post which is just sad. I honestly envy every blogger out there who are able to post daily – I would love to post daily and I did do it in the summer but now it’s just impossible!! So please do bear with me with the irregularity in posting 🙂 Buuuttt on to the post I have an awesome book to talk about….

What am I currently reading?

I’m around 100 pages through this right now and I’m really enjoying it. I did not expect to enjoy it, I don’t know why. I feel like the cover subconsciously put me off it for whatever reason because it chilled on my bedside table for ages and I borrowed it at the 3 times and still didn’t read it.

This is my first Brandon Sanderson book (if you exclude The Way of Kings which I only read the first few pages of and realised it wasn’t for me) and I’m officially hooked.

I love the way Sanderson creates such an epic and in-depth world, and how it’s somewhat subtly crafted into something magnificent the deeper you delve into this story

The whole concept is just so intriguing and just SO AWESOME the sci-fi fangirl inside of me that had been rudely pushed aside in my discovery of the YA fantasy genre is now dominant and having the time of her life. I’m so glad I decided to pick this up in the library for the fourth time and try it first!

What did I recently read?

Edenbrooke. I rated it 3/5 stars… which shocked me as I had not expected to enjoy it as much as I did. Check out my review here.

What do I want to read next?

Ok, so while I was at the library I picked out seven books – all of which are pretty big – and I guess I’ll choose from one of those… UNLESS I decide I need to read Lady Midnight because all these gushing reviews flooding my Goodreads page is very tempting.

What are you currently reading, what did you recently read, and what do you want to read next? Speak soon!

  1. I’ve read the Mistborn trilogy and Skyward and really enjoyed them all. I’m actually about to start The Way of Kings today. (I’ve been putting it off for years because of how long it is, but I swore I’d read it before the year was out!)
