GANDALF – A Book that Taught you Something
The Help taught me about the power of friendship, and how many things are possible combined with sweat, tears and sheer hard work.
FRODO – A Book that Left a Mark on you
To Kill a Mockingbird. I think the majority of people who have read this book can agree. There are so many reasons why I love this book so much and why it is so meaningful to me, and if I were to start writing about it then it would occupy several paragraphs and thus making this post incredibly long.
LEGOLAS – A Book you Finished in One Sitting
Back when I had more time (i.e. when I actually had a life), this would be something I accomplished very often. The last book I remember I finished in one sitting was The Archived by Victoria Schwab. I then proceeded to devour majority of the second book and finished off the last few chapters the next day.
GIMLI – A Book that Features an Unlikely Friendship
Charlotte’s Web. I mean who can’t agree that a friendship between a pig and a spider isn’t unlikely?
MERRY – A Book that Pleasantly Surprised you
Treasure Island. I didn’t think I’d like it, it didn’t seem like the sort of book I’d like since I was in the Anne of Green Gables phase at the moment and all I mostly loved were books that were similar to that. But I ended up enjoying it supremely and it’s probably one of my favourite books that demand a reread.
PIPPIN – A Book that Made you Laugh
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn! This book really surprised me because I had no idea it would be as funny as I found it. I found so many aspects of this book hilarious, most notably Huck Finn himself, and I have to say this book is definitely amongst that unending pile of books to reread.
BOROMIR – A Book/Series That you think Ended Too Soon
There is only one answer to this – Six of Crows!! Never have I wanted a series to go on more than this one. If Leigh Bardugo ever reconsiders, I think an eight book series would be pure perfection and I doubt anyone will disagree with me on that. We need more of these characters in our bookish lives!!
SAM – A Book with Memorable Side Characters that Stole the Show
Ruin and Rising. NIKOLAI. Is he even a side character? He did become more prominent throughout the series but he wasn’t a main-main character. And I am delighted to know that HIS OWN TRILOGY is coming out soon and I am bouncing off the walls in excitement.
ARAGON – A Book with a Bad/Average Cover
Frankenstein!! Why is he naked. I’m sorry. There may be a good reason for why he’s naked but that doesn’t mean there should be a naked guy on the cover of a famous book. I have no more to say.
GOLLUM – A Book that Had Great Potential But Disappointed you In the End
Ash Princess! It had such a unique premise but there turned out to be a typical YA fantasy book with all the typical features. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t outstanding either. However, I am still going to read the sequel, so that’s something.
